Major Display was founded in 1994 as a custom scoreboard company. Our team is passionate about quality design and ease of installation in all of our products.
After perfecting the installation process, we turned to the technology itself, and put the first app-based control system in the industry on the front of the pack.

The acquisition of Santech Scoreboards in 2010 let us offer superior service to existing Santech customers while we developed the best scoring technology in the industry.
Major Display is dedicated to developing technology that brings score keeping to a new level in sports. The introduction of the SCB3000 Control System placed Major Display at the front of the pack with the only mobile, app-based control system in the industry.
Built in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Our manufacturing facility is our own. The display, the software that drives it, and the people who service it all come from the same shop, which is why the process starts with a person, not a catalog.

Every board is built the same way.
Each Major Display scoreboard is built from extruded aluminum cabinets with a durable powder coat finish. We use custom-manufactured LEDs for all of our digits and indicators, for the longest life expectancy and the brightest settings. And then there is our controller: no proprietary devices, multiple downloads.
